How big is your God?
“He builds his lofty palace in the heavens and sets its foundation on the earth; he calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land,” Amos 9:6.
He sustains “all things by his powerful word,” Hebrews 1:3.
How big is God?
Well, he “fills everything in every way,” Ephesians 1:23.
God is infinite. Infinite means measureless, boundless, without beginning or end. The infinite God who owns you constantly directs you into one opportunity after another. Opportunities to become more like Jesus; opportunities to witness; opportunities to triumph over tragedies; opportunities to watch him transform disaster into demonstrations of his victory; opportunities to say, “I love you.” His infinitude enables God to lead you from one opportunity to another every moment of every day.
So, why don’t we who belong to Jesus eliminate the word “problem” from our thoughts? Why don’t we train our minds to envision God-created opportunities? Don’t we really believe that “in all things God works for the good of those who love him,” Romans 8:28.
Please, beloved of the Lord, overcome fear of trusting the Infinite One. His greatness guarantees that you are living in One Gigantic Opportunity!
Instead of calling circumstances “problems,” why don’t we try thinking about the “Problem Solver.” We will then gradually move away from the “problem” mentality into the “opportunity” mentality.
For those who belong to the Infinite One, he always opens the door into “opportunity.”
