Feeling condemned over our fearful feelings isn’t that uncommon. On the other hand, fearing our fears magnifies them. We think God doesn’t want anything to do with us since we are entertaining fear and, therefore, we hesitate to ask him for help. So, it’s very important to overcome fear of our fears.
God is always on your side! He is for you and not against you. Human weaknesses do not disqualify you from God’s blessing. Instead of condemning us for fearing, he helps us to overcome fear.
The mighty apostle Paul freely admitted to the Corinthians church that he experienced inner fear (2 Corinthians 7:5). In effect, the apostle admitted to all the succeeding generations that he felt fear. He didn’t fear his fear; he overcame it!
Dear friends, please recall God’s reassuring statement in Isaiah 41:10. “Do not fear, for I am with you.” Keep putting one foot in front of another, keep going on in spite of the fear you feel, and expect the victory!
We hope this Scripture Sheet Say No to the Fear You Feel helps you overcome the fears you feel.
